Mission Statement
The purpose of the Iraqi Infant Life Program is to provide clinics and hospitals in Iraq with water purification treatments, medical supplies, and nutritional aid in order to reduce preventable infant death. We are working with established US military contacts stationed in Balad, Iraq who are able to assess the needs of the local clinics and ensure the safe delivery of the aid we provide. Our goal is to enable Iraqi doctors to treat
-
diseases and conditions by contaminated drinking water
-
infections caused by overcrowding and lack of sterility
-
malnutrition
-
children and families affected by violence
-
respiratory illnesses
*All of the photographs displayed on this website have been taken in and around the area where our aid is recieved. The three clinics we are currently delivering aid to are the Balad Children’s Hospital, Balad General Hospital Pediatric Center, and the Women and Children’s Center in Balad, located in the Salah-al-Din province north of Baghdad.
As of November 2006, we have sent 3 shipments of medical supplies, totaling 30,000.00+ in worth. We have spent less than 2000.00 doing this.
Our first shipment was sent off in early August, and most of it has already arrived in Iraq, thanks to your contributions. There will be a new page created very soon, including pictures, detailing the effects of these efforts in Iraq.
We are currently seeking donations and are very grateful for your continued support! Please make checks out to the Iraqi Infant Life Program and send to: IILP, 1125 S Bryan Ave, Fort Collins CO, 80521.

We are guilty of many errors and many faults but our worst crime is abandoning the children, neglecting the fountain of life. Many of the things we need can wait. The child cannot. Right now is the time his bones are being formed, his blood is being made, and his senses are being developed. To him we cannot answer “Tomorrow.” His name is “Today.”
